Liz is a graduate of the Park School of Communications of Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. After graduating in 2008 with an Integrated Marketing Communications degree, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. This past year she was working for NBC News, logging, researching, and occasionally bumping into her biggest idols, Brian Williams, Andy Samberg, and Jimmy Fallon.

Out on the trail, Liz has adopted the name "Laugh Track", because of her constant laughter and terrible jokes. With a NOLS degree under her belt (NOLS New Zealand Semester Spring '06) Liz convinced herself that she would be the Julia Childs of the trail, cooking her way through the NOLS cookery. She wowed people with her Gado Gado Pasta, but has since given up that dream after throwing out all of her flour because she didn't want to carry it.

Liz is documenting their journey with a flip cam, and is cutting a piece to show everyone after they reach Maine. She looks forward to climbing mountains, trail magic, and getting a new perspective on life. See you out on the trail!
